When did you stop wetting the bed?

Hey,

I wet the bed this year. It's always been a problem for me but I've only done it once this year so far. It used to be a nightly occurence when I was in my early to mid teens. I'm almost 20 now. I'm curious to see if you too have either have or had bedwetting problems.

P.S. I saw doctors but they never fixed it and I never followed it up because I was too embarassed about it. You should see a doctor about it because you don't notice the social stigma.

    I'm 22 and I occasionally wet the bed. Oddly enough, it was never a problem when I was a child; it's a fairly recent development. It only happens on rare occasions though (thankfully), usually if I've had too much water before going to sleep.

      At 22 I'd be a bit concerned that it was a physiological problem. Perhaps you should mention it to your doctor next time you see him?

    I was going to rag on you and try to make a funny, but I realized that it might not be funny to you, so I'll try to help.
    I raised my oldest child sailing around the world and she had a bed wetting problem. No amount of punishment or embarrassment made any difference!
    Then I met a woman in NZ that had the simplest cure; no liquids after a specific time. For our lifestyle that was about 5PM. You'll have to work it out for yourself, but if there's nothing in your bladder when you are asleep, how can you pee?
    Simple and easy AND IT WORKS!

      What if you get thirsty?? And yes you can still pee the bed without having anything to drink.

    Never ever wet the bed. It's not a common thing, although all those Disney movies would make you believe otherwise.

    It's like Stop Drop Roll. I was told this repeatedly as a child. It made me believe that catching fire was a much more common occurrence than it actually is.

    Once I was potty trained bed wetting wasn't an issue for me. Although, once when I was a teen I took a nap on my parents water bed while they were gone and I had a dream that I was peacefully floating in the ocean...

    still happens to me occasionaly and i'm 16. Though it got a lot better . I was in diapers untill i was 12

    I havent stopped bedwetting yet. Im 19 and in college. It still sneakes up on me when I least expect it. I dont see any signs of stopping.

    Don't remember. I guess I stopped wetting the bed quite young. My nephew who is eight still wet his bed.
