When did you realize...?

you and the people you know aren't the centre of the universe?

For me it was after high school when I got my first full time job. I learned that grown ups don't have it all figured out and we're just slaves to the system.

I used to think I was special in my boss' eyes at my current workplace until I realized he treats every one the same way.

Im competitive enough that in a competitive market like capitalism im gonna do better than most people. I make more money than I need now and Im a freakin idiot. If I can do it anyone can.

My uncle cant read well he dropped out of school and hes a multi millionaire from starting a landscaping business and using the money to buy properties where he eventually built a strip mall and restaurants to rent out to businesses. Alittle
luck was involved he had no idea how popular nashville would get. But still it showed me its possible. I started realizing theres actually alot of opportunity and if thats being a slave im ok with it.

Somewhere around the age of 6. Wait, you mean that grown-ups don't have it all figured out? I don't think I realized THAT until earlier this year.

In recovery. I learned that being of service to others is important and that we are all one.
