Whats wrong with me

Im 17 yo, i was an out going person, but now im really introverted. Its been a year i feel like this, back then i really enjoy going out with my friend, and now i isolated my self in my house, because i notice that when im in social situation i feel very uncomfortable, and awkward. So to avoid that uncomfortable feeling,
I choose to not go out with my friend. But then i feel very lonely, and i really hope that i can be my old me again. I dont know why i feel this way when around people. What happened to me?

    So if you used to be outgoing, what triggered you to become introverted? If you can work that out you'd be closer to getting back to your old self, which will take some effort and starting with small steps and building on them

      so last year i move to another school, and i really affraid to making new friends in my new school, i think this is what trigger me to become introverted. And i think i have grown social anxiety, and in too scared to ask for help. And i worried too much about everything now. I feal fear inside me when ever im going to meet my old friend, and i dont know why

        You really need to get help with this unless you want to spend the rest of your life in this state. Is there a trustworthy adult you can talk to if you can't get professional help? Please do something about it before it becomes an entrenched pattern of behaviour much harder to change.

  • Some people such as myself prefer to be alone .But you seem to not be happy being alone.Probably moving to a new school triggered social fear in you. Join some social clubs at school or yoga etc. where you can meet people.You are too young to be isolating yourself from people unless you're comfortable with that lifestyle.

    You just currently are in a depressed state of mind... but liven up! :) you can change all of that in a matter of days. First be more optimistic about your current situation: you're living pretty comfortably and it could be worse. Second, as the comment above says, start getting physically active. Studies have shown that physical activity enhances mental and emotional health as well. Make sure also to be confident. I don't know who you are, but I know that you are an awesome person regardless. I would be confident in your awesome personality, be bright, and go do some activities that you enjoy. The more passionate you are and the more happy you are, the more you will be forced to be extroverted. Slowly, you will become more happy and be involved with more and more good friends.
