Whats a good job for someone with bad memory?

What is a good job that pays well and doesn't require you to remember a lot of information? I think I may have a learning disability cause I will listen but it goes in one ear and then out the other in a matter of secs. When it comes to training such as for a job, I feel embarrassed or scared that my supervisor has to explain things over and over again. Either they think I'm slow or they think I'm not listening and not taking the job seriously. Both are bad and not true. I might be considered slow cause I have a bad memory but I am doing the best I can to listen and absorb all the info. So whats a good job for someone in my situation? Oh and I also have like a minor case of social anxiety which probably contributes to my learning ability. So something that isn't so crowded and visible would help a lot.

There are plenty of books on improving memory out there. I see ads for memory exercises on the web all the time.
Wouldn't it make a lot more sense to improve your memory rather than seek some imaginary job?

    • What books do you suggest? I'm in my twenties and enjoyed books like beloved, clockwork orange, one flew over the cuckoos nest.

I have no suggestions other than to seek the information you need to improve your memory. I am old with 'old timer's disease'; nothing will improve my memory.

There are diets and supplements that you can take to help improve memory and brain health. DHA, which is found in fish, is the common suggestion. Alternatively, you can buy DHA enriched eggs.
