Follow up question, after you did this, then saw that the groceries were not being removed or sanitized, what would you do?

That kind of shit pisses me off, I'd be tempted to just beat the shit out of them, honestly. But that would be stupid. Or would it?
The last time I was inside a grocery store was February. I don't think they let you inside without a mask.
If I did see someone coughing on produce I would probably tell someone who works there.
And bullshit to those who would cough on another person in retaliation or confront them in anyway. No you wouldn't.
Smack them across the face and demand they sanitize whatever they just coughed on.
Deliberately? If it was clearly deliberate then I would tell the store manager, if it was just them being inconsiderate and stupid then I would yell at them.
I would record the person with my phone, and contact the manager immediately. If necessary I would follow the person out to the parking lot, and take a picture of their license plate.
Ignore it, I wouldn’t buy the food due to general hygiene (whether corona virus had happened or not) but I still firmly believe that covid 19 is no worse than the flu and everyone is just over reacting to sensationalist news reports and fear mongering.
First I would record it, then show it to the manager in hopes that the person gets banned/ fined ect.
In all reality I would do nothing.
I was always taught to not stick my nose where it doesn't belong.
I would ignore it but also I would not buy whatever they coughed on.
