What would you do?

Okay the question I want your opinion on might be a little offensive but it's okay. So your father's younger brother is 30 something and still single. Your mom and dad are having problems. One day you overhear your mom and uncle talking about running away together. What would you do?

Either tell Dad, which is what I voted for, or tell your mother you'll tell him if she doesn't

Then won't she emotionally blackmail you into keeping quiet?

You mean OP, don't you, I'm not OP! Blackmail takes two: if the person being blackmailed refused to be intimidated it doesn't work

What is OP? Also the mom is real intimidating.

With a mother fucking an uncle, your Dad will want to fuck your Aunt. I suppose you could fuck a cousin. Be sure to put the family pets together so they can have their own animal orgy.

I'd be too chicken to say anything, so I'd tell my brother and he would in turn tell my mother.

I caught my mom leaving to meet up with a guy once and I didn't do anything. It's not my business. No regrets.

I like to think I would have told my dad, but honestly I dunno, and I'm glad I never had to deal with either of my parents cheating. I certainly would lose all respect for her, that's for sure!

Its a real gray area that is almost different for every person. If you (meaning anyone) is closer to one particular parent you are probably going to have hang ups about ratting them out.

I mean if my father occasionally smacked around my mom (this never occurred just for the sake of discussion) I certainly wouldn't blame her for cheating, etc...

Yeah, it's hard to say until you've been there. But you're right, seeing that did forever alter how I looked at my mom. I was thoroughly shocked to find out she was capable of being so dishonest but lots of things started to make sense once I knew. She's incredibly manipulative.

It's not like I didn't consider saying something...I did...but after taking into account the possible outcomes I decided it best to stay out of it. I think it turned out to be the right decision once it was all said and done, my parents dealt with it on their own terms and had I injected myself into it I'm sure our relationships would've suffered.

Well that sure explains where at least some of your bitterness and anger are coming from. No regrets, my ass!

Why on earth would you think I regret not getting personally involved? That's a huge assumption to make considering you know nothing about my parents OR how this whole situation resolved. Then again, jumping to half-baked conclusions is your forte so it shouldn't come as a surprise that you'd come up with such a response.

You have to understand interacting with him or whoever it is. Their experiences are the sum whole of all human experiences. So basically any opinion that goes against what that account types is wrong.

life sucks sometimes, adults should make their own decisions though. you should tell your dad, this shit needs to be sorted. just make sure he won't kill anyone

depends. is mom finished raising her kids? if so, let her be happy. if not, then she has to deal with her responsibilities first. also, if she's not done raising her kids it sounds like she wants to get away more than she wants to be with the guy.

Ask him if he wants to fuck me instead of mom. If he does I would tell her he was good at licking my pussy.
And could see why she liked him.

Ask your mom first. If you tell your dad first it's just going to make the problem bigger.

If she is talking about running away with him they are having sex. So let the whore go. Tell her you know. I think it would be for the best. She would tire of your uncle and do the same to him as she did to your dad. We don't know if your dad is cheating. That may be part of thier problem.
