          You can't be a bird, you are simply a human who happens to live sometime during the 1800's. The point is to think of how you'd make your living. I suppose you can be a witch but that's more of a side-job as you can't really consider that able to make you a living. Unless you're going to be going around scamming people-then you'd be choosing the profession of con-man or (woman).

    Most of the professions are for men so I think that's why women chose prostitiute. I thank God that I was born in this age coz as a female, I wouldn't have been educated and as I didn't grow up in a wealthy family, I'm sure my options would've been very limited. I often think that, as a child, I would've been sent up the chimneys in Victorian times. Did you know that if a child got stuck, the sweep lit a fire under them - that got them out, one way or another!

    I would probably have been an assay office.
    It is one thing to mine gold, but it's another to test it's purity, melt it down and make ingots, and sell them to the government. I think it might have been a way for me to use my scientific talents in an era where science wasn't terribly profitable.

    Imagine being a prostitute back then-no showers (for you OR the men), no toothpaste, deoderant, condoms, anti-biotics or abortions (safe, anyway). Plus it wasn't illegal for the men to basically do whatever they wanted to you including beat you and you had no recourse.

      I couldnt live in the 1800s..no shower? Soap? Toothpaste? Condoms? Man fuck that! I guess I'd be in the hygiene business. I'd sell bootie butter, glycerin, parfume, animal fat & intestine skins by the masses. I'd be fuckin rich! Lol I could live in the 1800s.
