I need more then 1 thing so that I can feel happier, lets start shall we?
I would like my dad to be a better person because he took all my mothers money so that he could buy drugs when I was 2 years old.
I would like a cure for the illness that my mother got shortly after she left my dad.
I would like to go back to when I was 5 and prevent a car accident that I was in which made me lose my hearing on my right ear and paralyzed my rigt face half, if it would be prevented then my sister would still be alive, she died in the car accident at the age of 7.
If it were prevented then I wouldn't had lost my memories from before I was 5 years old, everything got erased.
I would like to tell my mother that I loved her, she died 3 years ago. (when I was 14-15)
And I would like for her to be living again.
If I had all that then I would be happy.
And optional stuff that would make me happy:
A girlfriend
More friends that I can trust
A job that I would like to work with
Sadly I'll never get any of these things
There are things I want, but they wouldn't make me happy, if that makes any sense.
This is true. Maybe I should clone myself, cut my brain out, and put it in the cloned baby me. But then that's not really starting again. And it'd weird people out, a baby speaking like I do. I'd get put in a freak show. Maybe I'll just stay as I am. Life isn't so bad. :D
You have no idea how much I hold back on the analytical side. You really don't want to see just how much I think about things. :P
If you could retain your knowledge from today and start life over again, I bet your life would go much better the second time. Also, I think most of our sense of "failure" in life is caused by regretting things we did not do, and unrealistically high expectations we've set for ourselves at an early age. I have often dreamed of starting over, but unfortunately it's currently impossible. {sigh}

My childhood dog, whom I was forced to put down (bone cancer) about a month ago. I grew up with him like he was a brother. He never judged me, earnestly listened to my rants, cries, and stories, made a great pillow, and was ALWAYS happy to see me-- that's better than any human I could ever ask for.

i think thats so human, never get satisfied. when we get things we want, we always want something else. so it would never ends. gotta grateful for what we have now.
Hitting the lottery, good health, my own home and a satisfying volunteer job. I already have a great husband who has a good job. but he works himself to the bone. I would like to give him an early retirement.

if i could make a wish i wouldn't ask for anything, but this, and only this, because i know nothing i can wish for can add be it's equal; I want to ask for a wish; I want happiness, nothing more. Isn't that what we all strive for? I think it is.
people have let me down a lot in my life, so i prefer to live in solidarity. so, i've tried to build strong self-worth...but the thing is, self-worth is a complete misnomer. if we're honest with ourselves, all "self worth" is derived from other's opinions. think of all those amazing, groudn-breaking artists and writers who never got any recognition during their lives and died penniless of a drug addiction/suicide. perhaps if their genius had received recognition, they would be happier people. anyways, in the end, this means that what i really need to be happy is pride. if i were proud enough of my writing, my body, the state of my living quarters, etc i would share them with others, and it would make me happy. i'm working on it.
there's a ton of things i want but i don't know if getting them would make me happy since i thought getting a car, nice clothes, shoes, purses, etc... would make me happy (& they did for a while) but it fades away after a while and then i want more so i don't know. i guess if i became a millionaire i'd be happy but i don't know if i got to that point if i would just want to become a billionaire and so on.
Money can buy most of the things on your list. And when it comes to the things that are impossible, like a loved one back from the dead, I stuck with what's possible.
financial security. After I get that i'll figure out how to enjoy the other aspects of my life.
I want to find a job/career that I'd want to do for a lifetime.. The rest should fall into place afterwards.
Wish I could bring back loved ones from... err beyond, but since that's not possible I think I'll take the money... yup the mulla, the green, stack, paper, cake, benjamins, I also accept cheques!
