What would happen if people could select their baby's gender?

Why is there no other option?

I choose not to decide.

I hate kids. I don't want either. :/

I don't care either way as long as it is gay and Chinese.

This already happens and I would've thought most people would know this.

In China, because of the one child per family policy which was in existence for years, more parents chose boys than girls, which has resulted in a total imbalance in the genders.

It also happens in India with wealthier people: I fact there are millions of girls "missing" in Asia because of gender selection, infanticide and neglect of daughters.

They already can. I'd imagine it's incredibly expensive too.

I'd pick a boy. There's too many goddamn women as is!
