Have you ever had one of those weird phone calls that made you feel weird or had you questioning what the heck was that?
A chick called me and thought I was some dude named Sam, her husbands lover. I kept telling her I'm not that person and that I'm Kevin, but she insisted that I was and kept yelling at me about drugs and stuff. WTF?! How about ya'll?

Normally when I get a call that is to a wrong number I tell them the the person they asked for is laying in bed next to me and too worn out to talk right now.
One time I heard my phone ring around 3am and drowsily answered it. "Come outside" was all the guy said. Confused I asked who he was. "I'm right outside" he said ignoring my question. Still half asleep and a little creeped out I peeked out of my blinds and saw headlights a few feet from my driveway. I started to panic having never heard this mans voice and figuring he was about to be at my house. I told him to leave me alone and glanced back out the window to see the car driving down the road past my house. Turns out the car was just driving by and the guy had the dialed the wrong number for his friend. Still it had me completely freaked out for a few minutes.
I received a phone call from this chick once who said she was pregnant and it was mine.
When I started talking to her that she may have the wrong number, she started abusing me, started to cry and called me a liar.
I promptly responded that she may have aids now and might want to get checked, and hung up.
I prank called my grandmother with my cousins. We told her we were the last surviving member of Johnson family, want our family name to go on, and have chosen her as the host.
There was another time these people kept calling me about insurance payments. I was 14 and didn't own anything that would need insurance on it. They even called my in school, I cussed them out every single time they called back after that and just hung up.
I picked up my phone and two girls started beatboxing and then the one sang Candle In The Wind while the other one continued beatboxing. Then they hung up.
I did receive a very interesting text message years ago though. Apparently this schoolkid thought I was another kid in his class or grade or school or whatever. He texted me that I should stay away from his sister or else he was gonna "end me" =/
So I replied with something like "I would love to see you try that"
Then, after a few texts back and forth, we came to the point where he will wait for me at the main gate after school the next day.. and I texted him back that I couldn't wait and that I have been waiting very long to kick his arse and humiliate him.
...never heard from him again =/

I went out of state down south to visit my Dad in a nursing home. I arrived late at night and stayed at my parents house. At breakfast the next morning as I was preparing to go visit him I received a call on the family phone.
The lady on the phone wanted to know if I was a member of the "flasher" family. I identified myself and she said that she was sorry to have to tell me this, but my Dad "failed" in the early hours of the morning. My heart sank. I had been looking forward to seeing him one more time and I had driven a long way and I was so close. Then the lady continued speaking. She said she was also sorry to have to tell me that he "failed" again a couple hours later and that time he hit his head on the night stand and had to get a couple stitches, but he was going to be OK!
I've been called twice by a bloke wanting me to blackmail him so I won't tell his wife or his boss he's called me on the sex line: he tells me his name and address (which turned out to be fake) and tries to tell me his wife and his boss' names and mobile numbers, which is somewhat redundant if I'm blackmailing him & therefore not telling them!
Now why would anyone pay to make phone calls like that? And why would it be a turnon?
A wrong number rang up asking if I received the paperwork yet.
I replied "huh?" in a deep voice, and the caller still thought I was "Rachael". I said they had the wrong number and hung up.
The call I recieved at work when I was told my father had passed away on the operating table. It was weird because it felt like I was in a movie, everything stood still and nothing around me made any sense. I will never forget it.
I had a car for sale once, and some guy called me at 3am saying he was going to come and have look at it.
I can't say I've received too many weird phone calls... but I've certainly made a few.
I had something similar. Hands down the weirdest was a phone call that happened about two month ago.
Some guy called me thinking I was a person named Derek, and yells at me for about 2 minutes about how he was going to strangle me if I didn't stop supposedly fucking his wife. He was pretty graphic in his violent threats too. I could barely get a word in since he was screaming so loud but eventually I was able to say, "Um... I think you have the wrong number." After 5 seconds of silence he was like, "Uh, I'm sorry, lady."
We actually talked a bit after that - he ended up crying on the phone. I mainly only spoke to him so I could try to prevent Derek's murder. But Derek's probably dead by now anyway. R.I.P.
