What was the reason my best girlfriend was jealous of a boy i kissed?

So me and my bestfriend was at a festival. I got drunk and kissed with a random dude. It was nice. However i recognized that my best friend was angry at me and it was weird. We are very close and sensual in a special-more-than-friends-way-ish. It was last summer and now today we talked about it and she admitted she was jealous of the boy for kissing with me at the festival. It made me wonder what the reason could be for her to feel like that. any suggestions?

    Either she was jealous you were getting some and she wasn't or she has a big crush on you and wants to be your girlfriend. Probably the latter.

    It could be a few different things or a combination of more than one. You answered your own question. You said she sees you as more than friends so she was jealous you kissed a rando and not her. Or... she could have been mad that since you were drunk and made out with a random you didn't show yourself the respect she feels you deserve. Or both. That'd be my guess based on what you said.
