What was the last thing that made you evaluate your life? or have you?

It seems that most people I know have had certain landmarks in their life that have caused them to reflect on their life and the future it might take, but I don't think I've ever had that, is that normal?

Every day I evaluate myself, it is my obligation to see that I am at least planning to head the right way.

This site, a relationship, seeing parts of myself in other people, seeing a glimpse of my future if I kept floating down the river instead of swimming somewhere ._.

My father passed on a few years ago and I saw how ugly people can get. They threw away that closeness that they had as a family over material objects and money. Most of them don't even speak to each other anymore. That ordeal made me rely on material things less.

Because it's not the first time it's happened... It can't always be them can it?

Hmm... I appreciate your honesty. I don't think it's explicitly your fault, but rather I would like to encourage you to ask yourself what draws you to these inappropriate and unhealthy partners. Maybe there's an element of codependency to your relationships of which you are and have been unaware? I want to encourage you to do some self-exploration my friend.

A total waste of time, IMO. Life isn't a race or competition.
