The Free Willy sound track on tape. I would bump that shit in my walkman like no tomorrow. Michael Jackson's song is over? No problem..Just flip the tape over and there it was again!
I think it was Green Day. Those cps were some of the first music I bought with my own money.
Tubthumper by Chumba Wumba, on cassette. CDs existed but weren't really used in the market yet. Makes me feel old.
Hahahaha, the first one I ever remember buying was this Paul McCartney's greatest hits album.
I'm ashamed of it now because I really don't like McCartney's music, but ah well, what can you do?
Eagles Hotel California. When it was new. Still my favorite of all time.
Kanye West Late Registration. LOVED that CD. still love his music now even if he's a douche...the guys talented (though Watch the Throne wasn't that good...disappointing)
This is gonna date me, and I can't remember for sure, but it was probably an Eddy Arnold or Hank Williams (Sr) LP record.
Def leopard - adrenalize.
I liked let's get the rock out of here but the rest of the album was shit. And so began a series of disappointments.
TLC-crazy,sexy,cool tape bought it for my 13th birthday jeez i feel old....lol
Panic at the Disco! was the first album I bought back in 2006. It had the songs Lying is the best thing a girl can do without taking her clothes off. That's all I really remember. But, I burnt that CD through I swear. :)
Madonna, Like a Prayer. When it was new. On cassette, of course. I remember it so well because it was fucking scented!! The damn thing smelled like it was drenched in some kind of cologne. Weird.
I don't remember mine, it might've been Sgt. Pepper's... but I'm not sure if that was my money or my parents CD that I used a lot! It could've been Green Day or Linkin Park; I've had some of their CDs for almost as long as I can remember. But I honestly can't be sure.
Some LP by Bachman-Turner-Overdrive around 1974.Cant remember the name though.
i bought The Emancipation Of Mimi on tape. I didn't have a CD player or a computer then, i was 14.
The first cd I ever bought with my own money was Clay Aiken: Measure of a Man..
I was 9, and I got it the night it came out.
If those "Now That's What I Call Music" CDs don't count, then I think it was The Killers' Hot Fuss.
Madonna's Like A Prayer on vinyl. I know I know such a manly mans choice. I remember looking at the navel on the cover all the time. I listened to it not all that long ago and it's still one of her best.
Snow Patrol, can't remember what the album was called though, think it was Spitting Games.
Mine was a CD with the soundtrack of Sailor Moon! I was 9 years old, an I loved it!! ^^
