My best friend is a boy, I never thought I would be gay until the day I said that my hair looked bad, he just played with the strands of my hair and said that it looked good. After so our eyes locked and I sorta just fell in love.
When I was 11 I met this boy that was a few years older than me and I felt so happy. We dated for 4 days but then he admitted that he didn't like me. I was heartbroken.
I have been head over heels in love maybe 3 times in my 57 years. The first was in high school, she ended up marrying one of her teachers. The next one she had 2 kids, a boy and a girl. The baby daddys weren't very much in their lives. I really loved all 3 of them. Her daughter brought me a father's day card she made in school. In the front was a teddy bear on the folded paper to act like a spring. It said "I'm so glad -" then on the inside it said "that you are my dad". I have probably never cried happy years in my life so much as then. I was crushed when her mom (my gf) decided she wanted other things out of life instead of the life I thought we were building. The 3rd was a female I worked with who was a mail order bride. From the Philippines. DAMN I loved her so much, but the sad part, her husband did too. That didn't work out either.

The first time I realized I was in love, I had the flu and my period... simultaneously. I was in overwhelming pain. My boyfriend immediately came to pick me up, drove me to his place, and laid me on the couch. He had these goofy "get well soon" decorations around and found my favorite childhood cartoons to put on TV.
Before I knew it, I had medicine, three of my favorite teas, fruit juice, soup, and was being held in a warm blanket. It was jarring. My parents were semi-abusive. Whenever I was sick they locked me away and didnt talk to me. So I remember crying because I was happy and I asked him why he did all that, told him that I would just make him sick.
He just laughed, kissed me, and whispered that you can't get sick by someone you love. I knew in that moment that he was the one for me.
