To all the gamers out there, if you had the almighty power to kill a video game franchise for good what would it be? I personally had enough of these terrible "realistic" shooters that over saturate the gaming industry, but what would you do?

Personally Pokemon is the one that irks me because I see it everywhere.
Just because I don't enjoy a game, doesn't mean I would get rid of it and spoil everyone else's fun. I don't really understand games like COD, though. When I played it all you had to do was shoot people. Where's the fun in that?
They are all good for different people. I would not get rid of any of them. However I choose not to buy/play many games. Other people may choose different!
COD. Every game is essentially the same as the last, just with slightly updated graphics.
Not necessarily "end" but more revised. I would try to reboot them in a innovative way.
only three for sonic!?! counting me of course. but still, why?!! Sonic was never good, never. even in the first games, the levels were not designed for sonic, i want to go as fast i can at all times why am i stopped waiting for a platform which i will miss because the controls are floaty and shitty. i hate you sonic, but echidnas do have a four headed penis.
Resident Evil. It still looks like a Playstation game. Either a total makeover or give it up.
I wouldn't really end the call of duty franchise as people really seem to like it and I don't want to be that much of an A hole. However, I would make it so the only thing they're allowed to release is patches to graphics and more campaigns, none of this brand new game for 2% difference.
None, but I would bring an end to Nintendo for what they did after N64.

What? Windwaker is one of my favorite Zelda's along with Link to the Past and Orcarina. I enjoyed how the world felt big and the main complaint was the graphics which I actually liked. It still did Zelda right and you kill Gannon in the most brutal way I ever seen in Zelda. Your little Link drives the sword through his freaking skull and he sees it coming. Also the place floods and the water pressure crushes him.
