What type of visual misperceptions are normal?

Most people have some kind of experience where they misinterpret something that they see. So where does this misinterpretation turn from being normal into being abnormal? Anyway here is my story. I was going around a supermarket and I saw a box of chocolates it had the words 'Just Friends' printed on it. I was about to walk on when I thought about how odd a name that was for a box of chocolates. I went back and checked and it said 'Just Brazils'. Has anyone else had similar experiences? How normal do people think this is?

I do that all the while.

I also end up typing something completely different if I'm listing to the TV at the same time. Many a draft of Rom & Jule essays have been punctured with lines from commercials ;)

Normal, you were thinking about something else while you partially saw the name so your brain just "autocompleted" it.

Pretty normal I think. I wouldn't say it happens to me frequently but def occasionally.
