What type of stories do you like most?

Fiction. I find non-fiction to be pretty boring. Even fiction that is set in our current world and is a story about someone living a "normal" life, I find boring as well. I like my stories to be as far from reality as possible, to more sci-fi or fantasy the better in my opinion.

I don't really think of something that is non-fiction as a "story", because to me story implies fictitious.

I find non-fiction to be much more interesting and important, but reading it for pleasure is less fun than fiction is. If I had to choose between getting rid of all fiction or all non-fiction, I suppose I'd get rid of all fiction.

Fiction and non-fiction are for entirely different purposes, though. I don't think the two can be fairly compared.
