    Although polyester rope is far stronger and has better physical properties (I use polyester rope in the course of my vocation), polyester is a plastic that is; 1) hard to dispose of and 2) breaks down over a long period of time, but that the molecular structure remains and these invade biotic cells causing malfunction in them.
    The right answer here, is not included. There are better ropes even stronger than polyester, but are not a plastic. They are, however very expensive.

      What we really need is a new synthetic fibre, that has properties similar to polyester, but is not a polymer.
