What type of pant cut do you think looks best with basketball shoes?

It has recently better come to my attention that there's a trend where people will wear high top B-ball shoes with skinny jeans. Personally, this isn't a look that I like. I think that it looks a little odd since the shoes and feet tend to end up looking very big compared to the pants. I am also not particularly crazy about it when people wear really baggy pants with their B-ball shoes either.

What are your thoughts on this?

    Love converse but I dont get skinny jeans. If im wearing high tops i'll usually be wearing shorts

    Don't wear basketball shoes unless you're playing basketball. Buy a pair of real shoes so you don't end up looking like a slob.

    Meh. I don't like wearing skinny jeans anyway. The baggier the better, and shorts are even better when the weather permits it. That said, I don't like hi-tops either so I might not be the best person to ask :P

    Whoever designed all the outfits for basketball must have wanted all the players to look gay as hell.
    Those baggy shorts might as well be frilly culottes and then take something as sexy as a wifebeater, but make it big enough for a fat woman to wear as a muumuu. Top that off with high top keds and you have a bunch of tall, gangly men running back and forth a little court looking as unmasculine as it would be possible for them to be.

        I believe most sports wear relatively skin tight clothes, for that reason, and of course, to give your opponent less to grab onto. But practical or not, they just look awfully silly to me.

          I thought of that too. I guess its not much of a problem or they would have tweaked the uniforms? I don't know much about sports stuff so I'll juts shut up and go make everyone some sammiches now.

        Do soccer players wear spandex? Or volley ball players? Or baseball players?
        There are plenty of sports out there that don't dress their players like prissy fruit cakes. And to take that ridiculous look onto the streets, well that certainly isn't stylish.
        I don't see what my sexual orientation has to do with how players dress, especially in a sport I hate and NEVER watch, but hey, if that's your best shot, you are far behind the majority of those who hate me.
