      As for my own tastes... I prefer musicians who are smart, rather than just ones who scream into a mic or are corporate creations.

      And these days, even metal groups are in fact part of the corporate machine. Just like Pop or Disney.

    It's subjective. Same with art. Or pretty much anything. I have my personal preference on things. So does everyone. If the majority agree, that doesn't make what they agree on "better". It just makes the people who like it "average". Why strive to be average? The whole notion of "better" is self-defeating.

        Horrorcore is a subgenre of Rap / Hip Hop, just like Jungle is a subgenre of Drum 'n' Bass. So it's still rap, it's just a certain type of rap. He/she wasn't wrong.
