I love psychedelic and shoe gaze. And when the two combine I explode... in my pants.

I don't understand how people keep misspelling it.

Indie music usually. However I don't discriminate when it comes to music. Doesn't matter what genre of music it is, as long as the song in some way has an impact on me. I'll most likely enjoy it.

A decade a band was in is not it's genre. Oh, Korn plays really good 90's!

I like metal. Of all forms, save for death and core.

I wish there had been a choice for "metal". Sure, I like classic rock and progressive rock, too, but I think metal deserves to be its own category, even though there are a million sub-genres under the "metal" heading.

First poll I was surprised by the results. Lots of rockers here, cool. Rock was my first love musically.
I would say pop or hip hop because those were the genres from which I first liked artists from, but rock was the first I really fell deeply into as a genre, or rather it was nu-metal, but then the wider category of rock, stuff like zeppelin, and more zeppelin lol, and like ozzy osbourne, and like ratm and rhcp, and then more into radiohead.
From there it was the elitist avant garde indie bands. And somewhere in there, I really got into the newer popular hip hop, YMCMB, Swizz Beats, The Bizness, Bangladesh.
Kind of was lost for a little while, when it got too experimental and conceptual for my actual taste in listening, namely Death Grips and Lil B, and then I really fell into EDM in the broadest sense, all its weird subgenres on soundcloud, that's the most exciting thing for me going on right now.

But rock will always have a place, The Doors, I guess Zeppelin is the only band I really liked, 2 and 4. Cool stuff. Hip hop just always made more sense to me, and the nu-metal I liked was basically rap music anyways Slipknot, SOAD, Linkin Park, those guys were all sort of rappers. I just like bassy production, rock is so loose and emotionally broad, like it is an atmosphere of feeling, I feel like hip hop is more like story telling, where rock wants to be like in that moment, I guess dance music is like that in that way too.

Idk, I guess you like what you like, in the right setting I could be into it. Environment to me is a huge factor in the music I enjoy.

    Where is the "all" option?

I like good music of most genres. The only genres I actively dislike are some types of electronic dance music without any syncopation to the beat. (trance, techno etc) Apart from that I like quality examples of all sorts equally, pop, prog, folk, classical, reggae, dub etc, jungle, dubstep etc, jazz & funky stuff, soul, all sorts!

There is only good music and bad music!
I like all sorts as long as it doesn't suck.
