What type of a personality do you have....?

I personally believe that some people lump themselves into groups too much, like this post does (I know that's not entirely your intention). There aren't 4 types of personality, and the reason we have stuff in common with lots of people is because we all have loads of different traits, in my opinion.

I don't see it as being solid either. It's like a scale. I think it depends entirely on context how we are. With certain people, I'm very reserved and shy. Does that define me as a person? Not entirely. With other people I'm very outgoing and talkative. Some people I'm funny with, others, not so much. We have loads of different interests and abilities, and one of my least favourite things is when people limit others (or even themselves). I think it's really stupid and even close minded. I don't think I'd like people with such a one dimensional personality, it's boring. Why can we only be shy? Or listen to only one genre of music? Why would anyone want to limit themselves like that?:S And behaving differently around different people does *not* make someone fake. I completely disagree with that opinion.

I don't know. I'm not wording this in the way I want to.:S I do have traits, obviously. They haven't changed since I was a kid, I'm still very much the same person. Although, like I said, it depends. When I was a kid, it was more obvious what sort of person I was and what my traits were. I'm still the same, except with some people, certain traits get suppressed a bit. I could list the traits, but it might be a bit contradictory to what I've said. There's one by the way:P. Also, what I think about myself, doesn't match what other people seem to get from me, for obvious reasons. In fact, people seem to get very different impressions of what sort of person I am. Honestly, you wouldn't have thought it was all one person, they don't match sometimes. I am massively interested in this sort of thing. I love seeing what one person thinks about me (or anyone), and comparing it to my own view, and then another persons, etc. I just love that sort of thing!

I could list what traits I think I have, if you really want. I'd be very interested in seeing what people think about themselves. You can probably infer a couple of things about me from this, and other, comments I make. Same with anyone really. Sorry, ranting a bit there. There's another one, ha.:P

I'm not sure what personality I go with but here's my a look into my personality, I guess:

I've been told I was a bastard more then once. Yeah, I have a short temper and I don't let people fuck with me. But most people don't like to hear the truth. They want you to tell them shit they wanna hear, to sugar coat everything while they sit in the corner feeling sorry for themselves. They get pissed because I don't give them sympathy, but who the fuck is going to feel sorry for someone who already feels sorry for themselves? A pathetic bunch of sons of bitches if you ask me!

I can tell you this. I'm a determined person. If I say I'm gonna get something done. I'm not gonna fuck around. I'm getting it done! There's no need to linger because the world's not gonna wait.

I'm a leader and I don't take kindly to other's demands. I don't know. I guess that's just how I am. I've never been a follower and, I assure you, I never will be. People tend to follow me.

When I don't like someone, people tend to know it. I'm not afraid to get in someone's face when they piss me off. I won't deny that I have a short temper but, when people get on my bad side, it obviously shows.

I don't like to surround myself with pitiful shmucks. I think more people need to learn that shit happens, and when it does, you can't always cry over it. You just have to take it. Get in it's face and, next time, use that experience to overcome.

I believe you have to be assertive and straight forward with people, otherwise, they will walk all over you. And if there's anything that annoys me, it's a shmuck that's too afraid to stand up for themselves. Don't let people push you over. It's pathetic. You want respect, you have to demand it.

Im not good looking, but apparently im hilarious, nice to certain people, fun to be around and the life of the party. However, im also emotionally unstable and incredibly paranoid, i have long since discarded the majority of friends i have out of paranoia, and my reputation went from being one of the most well known people of my generation, to Mr. HidesHimself daily. I have no friends to return to. I cannot be myself anymore, and i am a shell of my former self. I dont have enemies, just people i dont like, which is nearly everybody.

I'm pretty much the type if u like me great, if u don't then it's your loss.

As much as I believe any personality can be accurately categorized if we only measure it in the right way, I can't say I identify with any of those groups. No offense, but they're quite limited. For example, all of those types describe themselves as being good-looking, which automatically eliminates anyone who doesn't have good self-image.

I dont like definations of personality types. You cannot label people into little catagories like that. My personality also fluctuates depending on my mood.

My personality isn't easily pinned down. I don't identify even remotely with any of the four options. So much of my personality conflicts with other parts of my personality that it's difficult to tell sometimes (even for me) how I'm going to react to something.

Like bananaface said, if it'd help for me to list, say, ten positive and ten negative personality traits so you could see where it fits in with your ideas, I'm more than happy to.
