What to do about my best friend???

I'll try to keep this short... I need some help. Me and my best friend, we've been friends for over 14 years, now it's been over two months since I heard from him. Pretty much every week I try to contact him at least once, but never getting any response, is he trying to cut me off? It would really suck to lose him, since he's really my only friend. I feel like all that childhood stuff and the brotherhood doesn't mean shit anymore, I had another friend whom I had known for about 12 years when he cut me off, but at least then I had some idea why he was doing it. This time, I have no idea why would he be doing this, the last time I was with him it was just like any other time, we're joking and having a good time...

At this point, I'm sure there are people who would advice me to 'stop whining and get over it', and I agree with that, but unfortunately it's not quite that simple. The last time I was with him, I borrowed one of my games to him, this particular game is pretty rare and it's hard to find, and even harder to find it for a good price. I would really like to have this game back, since it belongs to me and I was lucky enough to buy it for a reasonable price... I'm thinking maybe I should go knock on his door, ask for my game back and never bother him again. I'd be ready to deal with the loss, as I said before, I've already done it once. But what do you think I ought to do?

Don't give up on him yet, maybe he's respond one day... 7
Get the game back!!! For the love of god GET THE GAME BACK!!!! 23

I really feel you are in a toxic relationship here.

You should kill or have your 'friend' killed.

Wait till it's his birthday or other special occasion and do it then. It'll be a great surprise for him and a great release for you.

I hope this helps. This solution should only be used if you live in a place that doesn't have the death penalty.

What an insensitive thing for him to do. It's one thing to move on from a friendship, but it's another not to give any explanation.

"I'm thinking maybe I should go knock on his door, ask for my game back and never bother him again."

    ^this, EXACTLY this.

I have been in nearly exactly your situation. It's almost eerie how similar it seems. We haven't talked for probably a couple of years now...
