Mainly r&b such as Ordinary People by John Legend as listed above..Crying Out For Me by Mario is another that quickly came to mind..and some country songs like I Hope You Dance by Faith Hill. Definitely that Titanic song by Celine Dion too.

I've only cried over songs I associate with someone's death. The reason being, I always have a song in my head, even when someone dies, and then that song is forever associated with that person's dying. So there's about five songs I can't listen to without crying.

As for goosebumps? I'm an audiophile, there are way too many to name.

    Hiya,

Songs can either make me cry until I can't breathe & feel like throwing up, or I absolutely luv them.

Since we're talking about ones I love, any & all versions of an old blues song called 'In The Pines'. The best I’ve heard so far is by Martin Simpson.

"Don't Cry For me Argentina" The version by Sinead O'Connor. (Madonna has no soul) It's such a beautiful song. Every single verse hits my heart. Sinead's cover is my favorite. She just sings it with such honesty.

I'd never cry over music but I do get goosebumps from some. A few examples would be :

    The Scientist - Coldplay

    Speechless - Lady GaGa

One Day Like This - Elbow

The Takeover, The Breaks Over - Fall Out Boy

    My Heart - Paramore

How To Save a Life - The Fray

    My Hero - Foo Fighters

Breaking Down - Florence + The Machine

You Sent Me Flying - Amy Winehouse

Video Games - Lana Del Ray

    Hometown Glory - Adele

Most of the above have several songs which just send shivers down my spine. I could go on for hours naming songs.

A lot of songs send chills down my spine. One song that has special meaning and is very difficult to find is called "She" by Hummingfish.

    The chorus:

    She's not what you expected
    You thought you were garrisoned
You had all your sides well protected
She is more than she seems
    Asks more than a dream
    Nothing less than everything
She gives you more than you knew you wanted
and now what you're wanting you never ever had before
    Real true imperfect love

The Host of Seraphim - Dead Can Dance, actually, almost anything by Dead Can Dance

Let's not shit ourselves (To love and to be loved) - Bright Eyes

      Strange Fruit - Billie Holiday

Lonesome Valley from the soundtrack to Oh Brother, Where Art Thou?

      Mad World - Gary Jules

      Jupiter - Holst

There's more, but i'll stop now.

I can't beleive you said Jupter! The first time I heard it was at an assembly in jr. high. The Utah Symphony was playing a bunch of random for us. The moment they started playing Jupiter I had goosebumps on my arms. It was the most amzing thing I've ever heard live. It has stuck with me for years!!! Love it!

I literally don't get chills down my spine. I guess I'm not that sensitive and all that, but there are songs that shake me to my core sometimes, if you will.

Some songs that I can think of, that move me are 'Celluloid Heroes' by the Kinks and 'Wouldn't it be Nice' by the Beach Boys.

Both great gems in my music archive.

Weirdly, I just mentioned it in my previous answer. Jerusalem. Also, the aria from Madame Butterfly, Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue, many of Chopin's Etudes, Preludes, and Nocturnes. Beethoven's third symphony (the Eroica). Phillip Glass' Koyaanisqatsi

But popular songs: "Big Yellow Taxi" by Joni Mitchell always chills me a little bit. "I've Never Been To Me" by Charlene, as well. It sounds horribly old-fashioned and club-singerish but, lyrically, it's overwhelmingly sad. Three Sinead O'Connor songs/covers too: "Nothing Compares 2 U", "The Emperor's New Clothes" but particularly "My Special Child".

The Beatles do it a lot: "Eleanor Rigby", "She's Leaving Home", "For No One", "A Day in the Life"

But if you mean spine-chilling in a good way, lots and lots of David Bowie, Lou Reed singing "Perfect Day" or "The Last Great American Whale", Queen singing "Bohemian Rhapsody".

Oh, and obviously the entire oeuvre of the boy Bieber.

    If I was invisible
Then I could just watch you in your room
    If I was invincible
    I'd make you mine tonight

    ...
    If I was invisible
    (Wait..I already am)
