What should i do i need opinions

I work as a bagger at Kroger, part of the job is going in the parking lot and grabbing baskets/buggies/ grocery carts and bringing them in the building where customers grab them, us baggers are supposed to take turns going out there every 30 minutes. The 2 supervisors 2 of them only) think they can have us out there as long as they want, today one told me to go out there even though the other bagger's 30 minutes were not up or over yet. I go to the managers above those supervisors and they just tell me to do what my supervisor says. It has to be fair, that's why they think they can do whatever the fuck they want because their superiors go along with them because they do not want to tell them shit. Why say that's us baggers are supposed to take turns out there if they take it upon themselves to do what the hell they want? One of those supervisors calls a cashier names and is unprofessional she even called me a stupid ass and that cashier a bitch. Tell me guys what is there for us to do to be treated fairly? Should I go to the president of the company if the highest managers at the store do not do a fucking thing about it?

Call the human resources support line. I'm a bagger and a cashier for winn dixie. I never have these problems but we have daily training including about discrimination and harassment. We don't have assigned turns but we all go out to collect carts. At my store, there are 4 main managers and the customer service desk supervisors. If nobody is doing anything to stop this harassment, you need to contact human resources.

        https://www.thekrogerco.com/contact-us/

my best guess is to try the corporate switchboard. I would think that whatever website you log in to for training or employee information should provide it.

Quit! How hard could it be to find a job to replace it.

Enough people quit, and managers will start looking for the reason. Going above their head is not going to get you treated better. Temporary it might but they'll be looking for the slightest things you do wrong so they can justify disciplinary action or firing. Or more likely just start cutting your hours untill you quit.

My rule of thumb, worry about how you are doing your job, not how everybody else is doing theirs, unless it's your job as a supervisor or manager to worry about other people and their performance.

Personally when I was a teen I had the same type job and I loved being out of the building getting the carts and we didn't have the nice little electric cart machines. But I wasn't on my hands and knees, dusting or stocking selves or cutting my hands on the cardboard.

    • worry about how I do my job only? The fuckers are screwing me over and you want me to worry only about how I do my job? I'm worrying about it because I'm the one suffering over how they do theirs. I'm actually going to stay and try to get my hours back maybe you're right they want me to quit but they're going to have to fire me and I'm going to make it hard for them to do so

I'm just saying, you're not really getting screwed. They most likely pay you a certain amount per hour or day to be there. Unless you get paid more for stocking than getting carts. If you are getting paid the same then whether you spend 1, 2, or 3 hours a day Getting carts or stocking you're getting paid for being there and doing the work they need done.

You just don't like that part of your job and think everybody should have to do it as much as you. Somewhere there is probably somebody complaining because you get to do carts all the time and they have to stock your selves. Look around see if you can find that person and swap with them. I'm sure not everybody hates doing carts as much as you!

        • Just because someone has a job doesn't justify the fact people like me are getting screwed over and sure as hell doesn't justify the fact they are doing wrong. There's other baggers who can and should go out there who are better at it than me. Would you appreciate being screwed over? Would you screw anyone over if you were a supervisor?
