What should i do about this girl i really really like?

I went to a small party about three weeks ago at my friends house, and I was talking to this girl I used to know. We started texting a lot, and I saw her at another party yesterday. We were talking there when I heard her say "I don't like white guys." I'm a white guy, and I don't know if she was joking. I don't know if I should ask her out or if I should just leave it alone. Help me please.

    Respect her preferences. If you guys are friends, she isn't racist. She just has her preference like we all do. I think that was an ignorant comment for her to make but I think you should forget about her. You'll find someone better.

      I agree with Rainbow, we all have our preferences and we should respect hers. Now she could have phrased it better, especially for the people who still care about their skin color (seriously we're all humans, who cares what color of men she likes). Yet I do say he could probably do better, but then again it's his choice and it's not like I know the girl personally so I know I can't give accurate advise anywise.

    You are NOT a "white guy". There is no such thing.

    You are most likely descended predominantly from a people who once inhabited the Ural Mountain region, and migrated Westward from there, through various migratory events, historically and pre-historically.

    You are a 'male', who probably does not resemble Guy Fawkes.

    Ask her out anyway. The worst that she could say is 'no'.

    You can always ask her why she said that she does not prefer males of a similar genotype (clan), as yours.

        Possibly, yes, I can see that I could be annoying; but there is a sound rationale for this.
        It is this type of laissez–faire speech which spreads misinformation or disinformation to others, and to future generations of people.

        I freely admit, that in 'normal life', I also sometimes use such terminology (as I have been conditioned this way), although I do try to correct myself.

        It is very important that we all try to correct ourselves, such that we do not perpetually spread such nonsense to future generations of people. This is imperative.
