What should i do about my family situation?

I feel like my parents want me to be their house maid. I'm a full time student and I also have a full time job. Between the two I don't have much free time.

They said they don't want rent but they'd like me to clean around the house. I do the laundry and do the dishes when I can (mostly every day). I also clean up other things when I can too (at least two things a day). They don't want me to clean at night but I don't get home till 11 on most days so that is usually the only time I have the chance. They say I don't do anything but I feel I do a good amount I mean I definitely could do more but I'd rather just pay rent than spend my very little free time cleaning up the mess of 2 children, 2 dogs who are not very well house trained, a cat and 3 adults.

I pay for most of the food I eat and I pay for everything else I need (phone, clothes, transportation, ect) I just don't know what to do, I don't have time to be their house maid but I don't think it would be a smart idea to move out with the amount of money I currently make.

I've told them that they are putting too much stress on me before and I was going to move out. They said they didn't want me to move out so I didn't and now the person I was going to move out with has gotten a different roommate.

My brother (11) and sister (13) do very little cleaning, they don't even keep there room clean yet (other than the dogs) they make most of the mess. I'm just so exhausted!

Instead of paying rent, offer your siblings an allowance for cleaning: $10 or $20 bi-weekly is AWESOME to kids that age. See if that works!

So not only is that cheaper than paying rent, it could eliminate most or all of your required work while giving your siblings something constructive to do. It would be a good life lesson for them too: the whole work=money thing, and I'm sure your sister woud take it more seriously and pressure your brother into keeping up the good work.

I would talk to them about it.
Failing that, compare the cost of renting your own place, hiring a maid, and paying them rent.
All those options will save you time in the end, so you might as well go with the one that saves you the most money as well.
