I think people should stop relying on online IQ tests, they're pretty flawed. Frankly, I don't see how anybody could see them as accurate. 100 is average and everybody keeps saying 'I'm above average'.... That's just silly. If we're all 'above average' than average would change because average reflects the education level of the general population. Sorry to break the news, but most of the people who think they're above average have been lied to. I'm sure I'm average, which I'm fine with, as the IQ test is only one way of measuring intelligence.
They weren't lied to about their iq, they simply lied about their own iq to look smarter. You need to take a proper state test though, that's how i found out that i'm supposedly very bright. You cannot use some Internet test crap to get measured.
I did about half of a quiz, then got bored and clicked random answers
My IQ was 69, and that's just the way i want it
I did some tests online, and I got like 120 but then I was told that these test usually say you're smart than you are. So, I ended up thinking I didnt want to know the truth.
somewhere between 120-129. had a score of 133 few times but it's mid 120s most of the time
I scored 90 on an IQ test at school. I also took a wonderlic test and got 14, so my IQ is between 88 and 90. I'm not that smart, it's kind of embarrassing.
I got a 98. I was rushing because I only fifteen minutes to complete the test, and I don't think it was an official test.
I have 100. The highest I ever got on a state test was proficient but I was told proficient means you are below average so I don't know.
I actually have an IQ of 146, although personally I don't believe that some test can accurately measure how intelligent someone is. It can't measure wisdom or common sense, and most of the people I meet with high IQs are only as good or worse with those two things. Also, The odds of 24 responders actually having a 145+ IQ is very low. Did they even get tested? The only reason I ever did was because I needed at least 130 to get in a "Gifted" school. Maybe we had 10 smart kids out of the over 300 students. More proof those tests don't work if you ask me.
Mine's 144, not that it's gonna help much because the people I associate with are a hell of a lot smarter.
Not to mention I'm lazy, pessimistic and bore easily.
I'd say people who have a lower IQ but are conscientious, realistic, reliable etc....are much more likely to be successful.
I've had a few official ones. I always score somewhere in the 120's. My IQ across different catagories is very scattered though.
I think it's safe to say that I am way too smart for my own good. There are definitely times when I believe that if I wasn't as smart as I am, life would have been much easier for me.
I've only taken online IQ tests so I don't know my real IQ. To be honest, I don't care if it's high or low as long as I have good common sense.
I took an intelligence test with a psychologist a few years ago. My scores varied so they were split up into different intelligence quotas.
