I like edible stuff. I don't care about its country of origin.

How come American didn't make the list?

Well, I'm from the country and I don't like the cuisine. I find it to be extremely unhealthy and disgusting, but that's my view. I already had many choices on there and I didn't want to make too many choices. So I added the "Other" option.

Aha, I wondered if there was a reason. I've been pretty outspoken here about American food but it almost seemed a deliberate omission so I thought I'd question it. Turns out it was. :)

Filipino food that my mom makes, though I thinks it's more of just Asian food, than one specific area.

  • Vietnamese food is my favorite. Also, I am pretty sure that British cuisine is an oxymoron. At least based on my experiences there.

From what I tasted in Britain, the food is pretty good. But compared to a country like France, Britain isn't famous for their cuisine.

The countries I went to didn't have spicy food or perhaps they did and I just didn't order them.

Spanish and portugal cuisine might use spices.

          • I know Spanish does but not as heavy as Latin America. I found spanish food more like Italian and Greek food. I have never been to Portugal.

Things like Toad-in-the-Hole, Spotted Dick, Fish & Chips, etc. Then there's the traditional English Breakfast.

I take it would be the unhealthy food that pollutes the country. You know the cheap junk/fast food.

No fast food for me. It's homemade Mac and cheese, biscuits and gravy, homemade mashed potatoes, chicken casseroles, eggs Benedict. And many other homemade comfort foods. I dont eat them very often because they are fattening. BUT, gotta have it once in a while when the blues hit.

        that and deep fried food?

        • Avant-Garde

That too. Fast food is usually deep fried and allot of southern food consists of deep frying. Paula Dean's food is a perfect example.
