Metallica was at their peak in the 80's making top-notch albums. My favorite amongst these albums is "Ride The Lightning". So, how about you guys? Whats your favorite Metallica album from the 80's?

    Ride The Lightning.

    'Puppets, like and And Justice For All, is massively overrated.

    De Vermis Mysteriis, now that is a metal album, one of the few "10's" I've ever heard.

      I thought they were starting to come back with St. Anger. Death Megnetic I thought they were finaly back to old school. Then they dissappointed me with Lu Lu. Lou Reed? Why Metallica why?

        I think St. Anger and Death Magnetic were awful...

        I like Lou Reed and I like old Metallica, but not together.

    I thought Metallica was great until and justice for all. I'm sure they made more money crossing over. I'd have to say at least megadeth kept their edge.
