right now i'm having some brandy mixed with honey, lemon, cayenne pepper and hot water. i like to smash up flowers and leaves in gin and add a bit of 7-up or tonic. it extracts the essence of the flowers and is divine...
What's the theme of the party?
There's a lot of drinks you can make that look impressive but are really simple to make, like some layered shots...and there's shots/drinks that taste like certain foods that can be pretty impressive....for example, if you mix coffee liqueur, orange juice and vodka it tatses exactly like a tootsie roll (sounds disgusting, but it really does taste exactly like a tootsie roll).
You could offer the basic liquors and mixers, and do stand-out shots.
It kind of depends on the theme and who's attending, (age/sex?)....
