What's your dream home?

Use your imagination and describe your dream home. After the poll write about what it would look like, what it would have in it, where it would be(city, suburbs, country, jungle, mountain, under the ocean, etc), how much land you would own, everything. Be creative. It doesn't have to be at all realistic (It could be on the moon for example)Have fun!

Stone cottage on a cliff, in a remote part of the Pembrokeshire coast.

That sounds lovely, wherever that is. England I assume? There's a lot of 'shires' over there, right?

Nearly. It's South Wales. I spent a lot of summers there as a kid and I've actually stood at the spot this picture was taken:

So much of Pembrokeshire is like that. Tourists always go to the old cities like York and Chester or to see Stonehenge or Big Ben. Nobody ever thinks to go to Wales.

A modern home in France with lots of space around it. Basically, I really like my privacy.

A big cottage in England that has modern amenities and once again, with lots of land around it.. It would be a nice retreat.

Already have my dream home, or at least will someday inherit something veerrry similar.
A beautifully renovated and modernised victorian villa in the countryside, with large rooms, open fire places, a tower housing the spiral staircase - offering a splendid view onto the rocks and the garden - and everything set in a large 'swedish' garden (the original owner in 1850 was a swede) with a brook, a spring and two ponds.

If I ever am to purchase a house myself, it'd have to be a house in southern france or italy, somewhere close to the sea, a manor, an old estate or maybe just a cozy little farm house.

  • If we know, that home should be with the kids, parents, we should think which exactly he should be.
Not bigger and not small, bigger than medium.
Simple house with two floors, from wood materials, not from bricks.
    It's near with town.

A small-ish, rough, old style cabin made from wood from the land it sits on. Stone foundation. Nice wrap-around porch.

That sounds really nice too. I wouldn't want some huge place. Too much to clean!
