What's wrong with facebook people ?

My best friend who is like my sister moved in with me when she was 18 she and her husband and son live with us. She got upset because some girl on Facebook sent her a mean messege. Sorry for the bad language but she wrote " hey your a stuck up rich bitch who nobody likes now you better stop shopping and going to school because everyone hates you ! ". Then last night I added a friend who has 20 mutual of my friends but she doesn't know me she asked me who I was I accidentally hit the like button in messeges she said that that didn't answer her question so she unfriend me she must have thought I was giving her the middle finger but I wasn't my phone brightness was down I hit like by accident but she unfriend me anyway. I hate it when this stuff happens. That girl who sent that messege to my friend I don't know who she is she has 4 of my mutual friends. I know her name though but I never met her I heard her name before I looked at her profile she always says " don't go out shopping because everyone hates everyone " which is why she probably said it to my friend. When I first joined Facebook it was nice and exciting people added anyone now when you send a request to someone they ignore it or block you some people don't even have add friend by there name anymore. Why are people so mean on Facebook these days ?

    Earlier Facebook was a new thing. Simply something very cool. People loved chatting to each other.

    Now people feel differently. They don't consider other's feeling when they are on the internet because of lack of immediate facial response.

    Now people are less social on social networks. I never knew a thumbs up might mean middle finger. It shows the way people have managed to modify the friendly gesture.

    The reason I prefer IIN over Facebook when I want to be social on the internet.

    Facebook is one of those sites where a person can over inflate their egos with their meaningless statuses on what they ate this morning, their kids, unoriginal quotes/pictures, annoying agendas, or rants about the people they don't like. I barely use it now.

    Same thing thats even more wrong w/ Tw0tter people... Being overly dramatic and excited to blab about their day constantly in the third person...

    Wrote that sin reading any of the description underneath the title of the IIN...
