Christ this'll be a long one. So there's this girl, me and her talk on facebook a bit. I am always starting the conversation but she carries on the conversation i.e. she doesn't end the conversation promptly. We get on very well in person and we always make each other laugh. She's also playfully pushed me away sometimes in a form of play fight. We also snapchat to which she claims she never responds to snapchats but she's been responding to my snapchats on more than a few occasions. So one day I asked her out for coffee, my timing was awfull as she was in a rush and she kinda like shrank/panicked and said "No....sorry" I played it cool and apologized to her later for making her feel awkward to which she laughed and responded saying she wasn't in a good mood anyway as she was hung over. So things between me and her picked up again and we were talking like nothing happened. Now for the juicy bit!I'm on a night out I know that this girl is also out and she knows that I'm out. She sees me first and grabs me to say high and we hug/kiss (the usual pleasantries) she then introduces me to some of her friends. Later in the night she sees me again and grabs my hand to lead me onto the dance floor. So we dance/flirt and I buy her a drink when out of no where she start snogging this other bloke. Now here's the kicker, she looked at me whilst doing it. This puts me in a funny mood and she comes up to me and says "Can you please try and enjoy the rest of your night, I feel kinda bad" being drunk I may have let slip that I liked her and that she'd hurt me so I lost the playing it cool aspect but hey I was drunk and the emotions were fresh. So i message her later saying it was nice seeing her and she responds with "yeah you too". So I'm confused, why did she do this? Why flirt with me then make out with another bloke? Was she flirting with me or is leaving the dance floor to find someone and then grab them to drag them onto the dance floor a friendly gesture? What's your opinion? What should be my next move if I should make another move?

    At this point you might be better off just sitting her down and explaining all of this. Just lay it all out on the table. Let her know how you feel, and be sure to avoid the use of accusatory language (i.e. say "I feel as if you..." instead of "You never/always..."). Make sure that you're both sober and comprehensive.

    It's possible that she just has a flirty personality, and she's flirty around you because that's just how she is. I wouldn't try to judge whether someone likes you or not based on what they do when they're drunk (or hungover, for that matter). I think SteveMachine may be right.

    First off thank you all for your advice. Except Peterr, you're a dick :P . Anyway since then we've been fine we're still talking and shit and making each other laugh. I've come to terms with the fact that alcohol was involved and that she may just not be into me. I find it odd though that she still frequently talks to me and contacts me through facebook/twitter/snapchat etc despite her knowing that I like her and that she hurt me. A week later we were both out but in different parts of town and she messaged me to ask if I was out as I'd put a facebook status about it and when I said I was out she said that unfortunately she'd already gone home so I was like "WTF?". I mean why would she contact me about that you know? Any thoughts? I have thought about telling her how I feel but I think that's a conversation that can go badly wrong if she ever feels I'm cornering her you know? I'm just going to wait for another night out and if she pulls similar shit then I will talk to her about it. Thanks again for your advice :)

    It could be possible that she just doesn't like you and is just a flirt. not trying to be mean but you left out the obvious option.....she's just not that into you.

    I think she made it quite plain that she's into guys for sex and you are just a friend. Don't bring it up, talk about it or confront her. If I'm wrong, and she wants to be more intimate with you, then let her make the next move.
    Don't get jealous, don't get depressed or weird; and if you can't be around her without being miserable, stop seeing her.
