What's the stupidest unintentional comment you've made on this site?

It's time to take a trip down regret and nostalgia...

Though I've admittedly made quite a lot of stupid comments on here, I've got to say that the absolute stupidest one that I've ever typed, and I quote, was, "Leap year: February 29 every 4 years (e.g. 2002, 2006, 2010, 2014, etc.
As an answer to your question: No." And then, when another user tried to correct me I replied, "Wrong, google it."

I-I just... ugh! I feel like crying when I see this. I don't know where I was that day, but obviously my brain wasn't with me.

Anyways, as they say, "Misery enjoys company." So that I don't feel like a total idiot, I'd like to read about the drain bamage experienced by other users on this site.

By the way, by stupidest, I don't necessarily mean in context. It can also be in the way it was typed or worded or whatever else. And by unintentional, I just mean that you didn't type that comment for the purpose of trolling.

I've never made a stupid comment on this site 3
I'll comment 0

Maybe I will comment and maybe I won't <_< // >_> 3
Don't tell me what to do! 0
I'll vote, but I won't comment 2
I won't vote or comment 0
Heck, I won't even read this post... 3
Why are there so many options; what are you trying to tell me?!?!?! 1
Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

Probably the stupidest moments are when someone answers to their own troll question as the anonymous poll creator.

and than everyone either keeps answering as though its a normal question or leave a comment about how confused they now are.

What do you mean Unintentional? Like posted on the wrong post by accident? Why cant you just erase it in that case? If you write and post it that is intentional. If you put it on the wrong post that is unintentional to the post. If your comment is stupid or not does not change how intentional it is. So pick up a dictionary. You just Unintentionally showed how stupid you are. Congratulations idiot!

    in·ten·tion·al
    inˈtenCHənl/Submit
    adjective
    1.
    done on purpose; deliberate.
    "intentional wrongdoing and harm"

I don't have anything I'm proud to say that I said on this site, so I guess I say a fair amount of silly comments

I never thought any of mine are stupid, until other people tell me they are :(
which feels much worse.. but whatever.. it's good practice to accept those failures, i guess..

I tried to correct someone's spelling but turned out they were right and I was wrong. Definite face palm moment the morning after. :)

I don't know :/ I mean I try and be silly and 'funny' but I bet people sit there and read it and are like ergh.

I once made a comment that sounded deeply, inadvertently anti-Semitic. I was talking about the Israeli government, and I said something extremely broad and negative about "the Jews", without in any way contextualising it.

I was referring to "the government of the Jewish state". I'd just come out of period of time spent studying Middle Eastern history, and in that class it was deemed appropriate to use the shorthand "the Jews" every now and then if it was used in a context that wasn't offensive. A small force of habit, a press of the send button and it was too late! :O

Even though it was in a long conversation and far down the page, a fair number of people spotted and rightly called me out on it. I had to instantly apologise and sheepishly explain what I meant. That's the first event that springs to mind.

    Half my comments haha

quite recently though a user was saying that at no point in the New testament is there a passage against homosexuality, I immediately thought wrong! And gave a quote damming homosexuality........... From the old testament, derp..... And cringe

To be honest my biggest IIN regret is what I don't say
