I'm a guy, and 2 is my "highest score". One with my (then) wife in the morning, and one later when we were both in bed with a female friend of ours. Only time I ever have slept with 2 people in the one day, almost certainly won't do it again due to lack of interest.
P.S. On, and when I was 18(ish) there was a time I had sex with my girlfriend, and later that night ended up sleeping with her younger sister at/after a party. Might have technically been after midnight, but same 24 hour period. Still 2, but twice. ;)

Call me odd, but I like to please a woman in bed, you know, have her experience multiple orgasms, that sort of thing. It requires focus and effort to get a woman to the top of the mountain and keep her there for an extended period. I find one woman sufficient for this purpose, as with two I obviously can't give 100% any more - just 50% to each.
Also, perhaps it was just my bi wife being inconsiderate, but I actually felt like a bit of a third wheel. Seeing two women get it on is hot, sure - but let's face it, you can see better "performances" on the internet if you want a performance piece.

Thanks for the details. Speaking as a girl, just about every guy I've ever known has a fantasy of seeing two or more girls get it on, and that's what they think of when they hear the word "bisexual," or think of a three-way. And lots of us girls are open to three-ways with other girls. Why don't more guys consider bringing another guy into their maybe-once open relationship?

So long as the guy didn't "do anything" with me (because I have no desire for that) I wouldn't have a problem with another guy in the relationship if there was some reason for it (really high female libedo I couldn't satisfy, desperate need for DP, whatever). I do tend towards monogamy though, so if it was just a veiled excuse for wanting to fuck different guys randomly for the hell of it, I probably wouldn't be interested (in the situation, or the relationship).

I have a "theory" that men, for a bunch of socially contrived reasons, are less comfortable with authentic open bisexuality than we women are. Even my open-minded guy friends my age in college, where you're supposed to be experimental, are ideologically open, but personally closed. I'd love to see a dude and his girlfriend agree to have a threesome, but not be explicit about the details, and witness the dude confront some night another guy present and waiting...
I'm with you on the monogamy thing, though. I hear it's old-fashioned. Maybe we're both just throw-backs. :)

Yea 6 but thats more of a guess than anything at least 6. I have had 5 partners in a day on a more or less regular basis but I'm in a poly relationship with 2 guys and 2 girls and 1 of the guys has on and off again gf's that join in.

Um... Like any relationship it had its moments. I'm not saying how we make it work is the only way but there are rules and certain hierarchies in place. Its complicated to explain but its stuff like the main couple that started it are like the final arbitrators of disputes which also makes sense becos its there house. But theres stuff like the other guy can't do stuff with the main guys girlfriend without him being present or explicitly giving the ok. Typically my girlfriend doesn't do anything with the guys unless I'm there. Among the girls its pretty much a free for all but even that varies. Any way lots of possible permutations and possibilities some which happen some which don't. Pretty smooth overall. Theres a couple other factors but I'd prefer not to get into them publicly.
