What's the most interesting thing you've questioned while being high

The question stands. When a person is high they usually trip out but have these really weird thoughts. For example, If you can past someone then can you also get future someone? Anyways, whats the most interesting question you've ever asked yourself while high.

When me and my friends would get high, we'd have endless (from early evening until 5am) talks about the universe and religion. Awesome shit right there, awesome shit. I wish I could go back and enjoy it again sometimes.

...Why can't you? Do you need to be high to discuss these things? That sucks.

It's not that you need to be high, but when you're under the influence of something like marijuana, it gives you these intense feelings, like you can feel the existence of something like a black hole. The thought of it becomes intensely real, you gain an appreciation for it that did not exist before. You think about things you haven't thought of before. I can't really explain it, but the feelings you get motivate conversations you have with people when you're high. NothingxCrazy doesn't have to be high to talk about those things, but he's just reminiscing about the intensity of those conversations. Also, the connection you feel with the people you're conversing with is amplified. Flutterhigh, from the other comments, I'm assuming that you smoke weed or have smoked. You should understand that, then.

I don't live back home anymore. I can't see my friends and hang out all night like we used to. We didn't always get high and talk about it, we talked about it sober. Being high just made it different.

But I also want to add nature, love, evolution, time, and "who am I, really" to the mix.

Yeah, all of the options are really... tangible. I'd say time, identity, reality, memory, language, communication, purpose, etc. But time and reality, really, I don't know how someone could leave those out.

My high self thought of this once:

Would a person be treated equally if she was open about being a transgender transspecies dolphin stuck in a man's body? In other words she was born half transgender dolphin half human trapped in a full human's body, which means she's a straight woman trapped in a man's body who is attracted to male dolphins.

I've questioned my life and myself as a person frequently. The complexity of everyday life and how many people there are in the world absolutely boggles me. I also think about economics a lot (econ major).

I've never been high but I've been drunk once or twice. I've had some pretty strange thoughts. Like whether pigeons could communicate with each other by their brain magnetism.

Why people are so against it when most of the haters either never tried it, tried it once or are so used to the youngsters overdoing it and that makes them think that everyone who smokes only does it to get baked out of their mind. :p

"try it" isn't always the best approach. Not everyone has the same chemical makeup and there are those who don't need to be experimenting ...

for example when I was younger due to ADHD I would have to drink coffee to help me focus... the caffeine had a reverse affect on me. god knows what illegal drugs would have done, even if some other kid told me "try it".

I know its not for everyone, thank goodness, but some people are just so against it without having any real reasons. Its annoying. There are people who should never go near the stuff for various reasons, and there are people like me, who use it frequently, but responsibly. There's been so many weed questions on here and so many younger people are just saying a bunch of misguided nonsense about it. I don't smoke to get stupid, I smoke to relax, calm my nerves, calm my anxiety, focus, etc. I mean I'm glad kids think drugs are bad, cus they are bad, but not all drugs are really drugs. Like weed, its a good thing for some people, not for others. I think most prescription drugs are way worse than any weed I ever smoked

          "without having any real reasons"

I assure you most people who are against it have very real reasons. You may not agree with their reasons but that doesn't mean their reasons turn into "fake reasons" just because others dislike them.

Well when someone says weed is fuckin lame or I don't do drugs, and that's all they say, those aren't real reasons to me. They aren't reasons at all. I don't care who likes it and who doesn't, but a lot of people I've come across, especially on here, have no true reasons. They just spat garbage. If someone says I don't smoke pot because I want to keep my memory, then I'll accept that as a good reason for them. And I never said anything about fake reasons, people need to elaborate a bit more if they want me or anyone, to think they are giving reasons, not just childish hearsay or bullshit opinions. And a lot of peoples reasons are just opinions, and that's fine too. Other people state facts that they've read or learned through experience, that's also fine. All I meant was that I have come across a bunch of comments, not reasons. Why are you so arguementative about this anyway? I offended no one, except you I suppose. I know there's people with real good reasons, and a lot without them.

One of my coworkers tried explaining his decision to me... he was use to people grilling him over why he didn't want to drink. My reaction to him was surprising... but one he liked.

Me: As far as I care you don't need an explanation beyond "I don't want to."

So... why does anyone owe you an explanation for their decisions?

I don't smoke weed because it totally destroys my ability to socialize in any way shape or form. It's like throwing molasses into the gears of my brain, everything goes in slooooow mooooootioooon....

and every time I have one of these thoughts? I never get to develop them, because by the time I think to say it the conversation has moved so far beyond when I wanted to speak up it's not worth it.

Also it smells yucky and makes little cuts and scrapes in my mouth hurt REALLY BAD. But... sweets do taste better. (Up-side to everything, I guess)

I don't have anything against weed itself or most of the "chill" smokers I know, but I hate "pot-head culture" and I also REALLY GENUINELY DISLIKE how EVERY (<--- yes, I wrote every. Even the most respectful friends of mine that smoke do this) SINGLE POT SMOKER tries to get me to smoke with them. And when I say "try" they don't just ask, they like... repeatedly ask and keep trying to convince me to. Why on earth is that??

I thought you potheads were chill? Just lemme be, man, I ain't diggin' it, but I'll let you do your thang!

What's that suppose to mean? Everyone knows you don't have to be high to have philosophical conversations. It's not necessarily what you question when you're high, it's the intense feelings of the reality of and connection with those thoughts that are amplified when you are high. Those thoughts are then with you forever, even when you're sober. Deep thought when under the influence is something that goes back a long way. Like the ancient Native, Central, and South American shamans. It's nothing new.

Logic and narration. Watching TV high always makes me come up with more complex plots for things. I have seen films and series episodes high and sober, and the things I understood when sober were totally different, but also much more complex.

I once had a multi hour debate with my old neighbor about probability and about how sometimes when you lose something that, according to probability, it could POSSIBLY have fallen through the earth. Because, let's say, if you drop a penny on the counter an infinite number of times you will essentially have an infinite number of different results. One which could actually be that the penny fell through the counter avoiding all molecules and ending up under the center.
At the time it was a heated and very pressing debate....now looking back I say it was rubbish...and I am right (I was against this theory by the way!)

I had the most random, but really cool thought the other day. I came to the conclusion, that human beings are at war with other species of animals. At this point, we are beginning to fight off other species from their habitat, in order to use the area for our own. This isnt around every corner, or in all areas of the world. But, in a lot of places, even sometimes in our own backyards, there is some kind of dominance battle going on. Take for example, squirrels. Possibly the most common of all critters. Have you ever realized the fact, that squirrels throw nuts at humans? I've seen squirrels in action, and they have some pretty good aim, too. But, I'm not saying all species are at war. Some animals have sided with humans. Dogs, cats, horses, etc. Yeah, just lost my train of thought. But do you get what I'm saying?
