My tabby friend. She does the cutest thing to greet me, standing up to head-butt my hand which makes her wobble and look like a performing seal.

I had a friend who used to work in animal rescue before it got too harrowing for her. They confiscated two baby tapirs that had been smuggled in from South America and I pleaded to see them, even though she said they were shy.
As soon as they saw me, they started bounding over and kept pulling at the bottom of my jeans. When I sat down they were in my lap, trying to climb up my front and kiss me with their strange noses. She doesn't know what it is about me that they latched onto, and leaving was really difficult. They squealed when they were taken away from me and two pairs of eyes were pressed hard up against the cage watching me leave the room.
They're in a zoo now and I'm planning to go and see them next year.

I'd have to say my kids. I don't find other people's kids cute, in fact I can't stand them usually, but mine are cute to me. Kittens are cute too but not as special as my kids!!
Animals can be cute but kids are the cutest to me. I'm a big guy and I remember sitting on a back porch with my very tiny girl niece taking about the world kinda thing. I can still see this picture in my head and she was sooooo cute sitting besides this big guy. She was already old enough to talk and looking at me as if she was ready to carry the whole world on her shoulders.
