My Girlfriend has many friends, and she's quite popular in school. However, Some guy got jealous of me and her and tried (and Succeed) at tearing us apart. We later, however got back together, and he came back and again tried to tear us apart, this time using threats of violence that he was going to hurt her and ruin her reputation at school. I'm of course fearful of what might happen next, and I promised to stay out of his way as he got her to himself. I think that he is Gay. (Not the mean style. He likes guys.) What my problem is that I don't know what to do. I can't call the cops because they live in a different city. And if I try to interfere I don't know what he might do. Am I normal for letting him through without defending her?

    Wtf? This story need much better explanation. If he's gay why would he want to steal your girlfriend? Also (and this is stereotyping massively) if he is gay then why don't you just beat the shit out him? I also don't get this 'live in a different city' part. More info required.

    So, let me see if I understand this correctly.

    You let a manipulative jerk steal your girlfriend, but you were fortunate enough that she came back.

    Then, he threatened you with violence against *HER*, so you promised to "stay out of his way" and let him steal her again.

    You are a coward.

    As a man, you need to PROTECT and DEFEND your girlfriend from jerks like that. She may very well be attracted to him because he is so aggressive. But, she probably also realizes that he is no good for her. If you are a coward, she won't be attracted to you; you need to grow balls.
