What's going on?

So I met this girl at college. We've only known each other a few weeks but we get on quite well. While texting we call each other babe and say we love each other (as friends, like when we say night to each other we'll say night love you) she says she likes me, I don't feel like we've known each other long enough though so I said I didn't want a girlfriend yet. All of a sudden out of completely nowhere, she gets a boyfriend. But still she calls be babe and says love you. She said that she told her boyfriend we're close and that nothing will change between me and her if they went out and that I come first. Is it weird I find this odd? She's putting me first before her boyfriend and still calls be babe and says love you. I think that you should only say those things to your boyfriend or if you're single. Thoughts?

  • LOL. What a spoilt girl. She can have her 'emotional' boyfriend (you) and be with her sex boyfriend, too. Good for her. She's getting everything she wants no matter how the guys she playing with feel.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the world, a really rich guy squeezes that last drop of cum into a really hot girl's tongue and dips his cock into the mouth of the second girl knelt next to her.

And so the world balances out. Lucky guys need guys like you to make the world a more satisfying place. Good job.

    Are you dumb?

That boyfriend is only for show to make you jealous and fall for her.

Some womans are warped like that.

Well, you said you didn't want a girlfriend so...
If I was in a relationship, I wouldn't be saying those things to another guy though.

Well, she is single. She never commited to you. She wanted to, but you popped her in the friendzone. She still wants you two to be what you are, and if you change your mind, she will too- but she won't sit there and twiddle her thumbs. As for the guy, she's not serious about him. She may or may not have made it clear to him. Whatever the case, you lead her on and then cut her off- that's pretty confusing for her, so she's going to be confusing back.

Could be she's keeping her options open in case it doesn't work out with the new guy.
But after only a few weeks, I think you are both a bit off base to be using words like love and babe. I think this one is not a "keeper", throw her back; there are plenty of fish in the sea.

  • I agree with you. Its pretty cruel what she is doing. Maybe it is just my neurotic perception of reality but does it seem like girls these days are getting more and more superficial and skanky? It is like they have to always have a boyfriend and a backup guy friend at the same time which pisses both the guy friend and the boyfriend off. then after the situation comes to a head they wonder why guys have gotten the wrong idea about them. Its all hogswallow. Haha swallow....

I've seen a lot of guys acting the same way you describe girls these day from your point of view. This is not something uncommon and limited to the girls. Though it's pathetic and unaceptable. People these days are so disrespectful and do not know longer the meaning of the word " faithfulness ".

  • If she is able to simply jump to the next guy like that, then I don't think you're missing out on anything when it comes to her.

I think her boyfriend should know that she obviously likes you more than him, as she is using him.

You want nothing to do with this dirty skank. As soon as she gets bored with you (or the "boyfriend") she's just going to jump on top of the next guy that crosses her path.

It just popped up on facebook that she was in a relationship and tagged some guy, no idea who he is. I also agree with him. It hasn't worked for her though I've stopped talking to her now.
