What's all this clamor about cheating on your wife?

Too many holier than thou commenters on this site. Marriage is tough on most guys. When a guy cheats on his wife then it's usually her fault in my opinion. Case in point: me. I'm a guy who works ten hours a day. And then I had to go home to a total bitch. Yeah, I cheated on her. Several times. Divorce is in the works but a divorce takes time. Our kids are grown so I just packed up and left. This after 22 years of hell on earth. I'll spare the gory details. But I wish she would have cheated on me first. This shit could have been over with long ago. It's usually the wife's fault a guy cheats on her. That's normal isn't it?

Years ago, I cheated on my wife. It wasn't because I wasn't being treated well sexually. It was more because I thought it made me a "stud". I'll be the first to admit, I was very immature. I honestly don't think I grew up until I was in my late 40's. I had a lot to lose and luckily, I'm still married to her today. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't feel the guilt. Before I cheated, we were each others first and only. She can still proudly say that. I wish I could. I'm sure it's easy to blame someone or a situation for being unfaithful. In my case, I have no one to blame but my selfish self. If you're tempted, don't do it. Trust me, it might take several years, but someday, you will regret it.

  • He said they had kids, Steve. Not a simple decision. Stupid.

He? Why are you referring to yourself in third person?

Also, I have an IQ of 151, and the divorce is none of the childrens' business.

If you have the energy to cheat on your wife, then you should have had the energy to end the marriage. You've had 22 years to make a simple decision, stupid.

Same. I enjoy it though. I feel best when I'm working, and enjoy my career. Enjoy the solitude too, it's beautiful.
