    To each their own. There really isn't a 'best'. Price does play a large role in this as well. Samsung makes phones in all price ranges, while Apple really just has their flagship phone, plus last generation phones that are reduced in price.

    Most people will see a brand name and vote on one of the phones that that company makes. That means (usually) that the company that produces the most types of phones has an unfair advantage. It would be a more accurate poll if you chose an specific phone from each company that are equivalent to one another IMO.

    Samsung perhaps. I owned an htc once but could not find a replacement battery.
