What natural disasters have you ever been through?

Well right now, at this very moment I'm in Huricane Irene. I just wanna know if you've ever been through an earthquake (which I experienced my second this week), a tsunami or anything else. Please also state the amount of times if you can recall. Thanks! Stay safe and be epic ;D

    I'm going through Hurricane Irene right now as well. But where I live I don't think its as bad as how they made it out to be. I actually think that it was blown out of proportion. Well, for the area that I'm in at least.

    And I've experienced a tornado once when I was on a family vacation. However, I don't remember too much because I was still quite young.

    Never had one. The worst we get in the UK is heavy snow and tiny little earthquakes. If even one person dies it will always make national news.

    Great Storm of 1987 Southern England, wind speeds of 70knots or more. Millions of trees down, severe damge to structures and about 14 fatalities. If UK had been situated elsewhere on the planet it would have been classified as a Tornado or Hurricane. Also experienced one in Africa..tore the roof off the house.

    a bushfire coming up the hill through the gully and us winding down the other side in the car , i was small, it was a crackling orange line, i remember the fear and we couldnt go fast the road was skinny with hairpin turns, he blew the horn at every corner and there was complete silence in the car

    A huge Icestorm in 1998. I was 8 years old and everything was covered in ice. Couldn't leave home but we were lucky our power didn't run out. I think we stayed home for a month.
