Rock, Metal, Classic Rock, etc, Is Better!!!
I think all music in this world sucks besides Rock, Classic Rock, Metal, and any music that actually uses REAL INSTRUMENTS
and REAL TALENT, Not the music that has so called "artist" that uses nothing but computerized sounds, Computerized beats, and auto tone. Not to mention that 95% of the pop/ rap/ country artist don't even write their own songs!

Ugh. If you say so. I actually think you can make fantastic music using computers. Exact same with "real instruments". You can also get really bad music from both. And maybe I'm wrong, but I think your statistic is complete bullshit.
Oh, and by the way, there are plenty of Rock and Metal songs out there that are both written by other people and which are completely devoid of any talent.
And what the hell happened to all the other types of music? Like, I don't know, Ska, Reggae, Punk, Jazz, Classical, Shoegazing, Rave, Folk, to name a few. And that really is only a few. The fact that you only have 4 options to choose from says it all really.:/
If you valued real talent in your music above all else, I think you'd listen to far more classical composers and far less rock and metal :P And that comes from someone who listens to rock and metal as their main genres (although I've been branching out more recently).
Music is a subjective thing. There is no "better" or "worse", only different emotions evoked by different vibrations of the air.
Wrong! Several counrty artist write there own music, and I'm sure that not all rock musicians write their own music. Also, there are plenty of other genres that use real intruments besides rock. I think you are a little ignorant on the history of music. I also think you should take a music appreciation class as you don't seem to know much about music except for rock. It would probably be a good idea before leaving such a post.
Classical and jazz music are not on that list, yet the other genres are all derived from them. you must be very ignorant and naive to talk about musicians and talent without acknowledging these kinds of music.
Everyones opinion about music is different. Whatever someone likes, that's what's better for them.
You need talent to create any sort of music. It's not like the computer makes the beat itself.

It's subjective, no genre is better than another. Although its generally accepted that all>metalcore.
thats a hard question to answer, its different for everyone. My personal choice is folk and acoustic music..
Right now music is pretty much all about swag,yolo,and sex
which is just super annoying.
Alternative,metal,and rock are much more different,and they actually CREATE their music with real instruments,write their own songs,and don't use auto tune.
And their songs can be really good
At my school most people listen to rap,and when I tell them I listen to metal & rock,they just say that how can screaming be good music

Right now in our society all these shit hip hop artist might be the dominant genre since our generation now is fucked in music taste, but Hip hop or pop and all that stuff doesnt stick, look at Led zeppelin and black sabbath and other rock/metal bands, they are still liked by millions of people most pop songs and artists will be forgotten in the next 10 years, ROCK ALL THE WAY :P
No music genre is better than the other it's all down to personal preference.
I think rock has the edge but it's close to a tie. I like rock better but I count a lot of rock as pop too.

I both agree and disagree with you. I think computers can be great for creating music, even for altering voices. But I despise when these tools are used to disguise how much the musicians/singers suck, instead of artistic reasons. Also, the music industry, sadly, has always been profit-driven. That's the nice thing about the internet- you can find all the hidden gems out there nobody outside of their home country has heard about. Anyway, I voted for metal, treating this as a "favorite music genre" question.
why no category about EDM which is like the new classical music they both got to be composed meticulously to sound great. And why the f pop is there its not a genre it just means it popular.
