District 9 (2009). A dystopian film just like Mad Max plus Sci-Fi and Aliens. Lots of action at the end. A convincing 'what if' movie with a huge colony of aliens who on their way to their destination apparently lost all power of their huge ship and had to recharge it on Earth for 20 years, while we humans had to shelter them, give them rights etc. We actually treated them in the nastiest ways.

Upstream color, really good mind fuck film with amazing cinematography and pacing, the raid 2 best action film I've seen even better than the first and a girl walks home alone at night, a romantic noir horror arthouse film that reminded me a little of let the right one in at points, and it has an amazing soundtrack

meh that movie was far far from what I expected, just some rehashed shit. The only thing I took from that was the comment about how they're just animals and they can be trained like any other animal as we did with cats and dogs. Could you imagine indoor versions of those? I really wished we did that with bears.

True, that goes back to the original movies regarding the raptors as well. They just took it another level splicing it with the tree frog, then with the raptors genes it was able to identify it could use this as a means to escape. It is pretty predictable when you think of it though, the fact it turned white when it was introduced... it was developing its latent genetic abilities. I am all most positive based on the creatures depicted at the end it had more abilities however were never displayed. In entirety I was disspointed we didn't have a good look at the thing.

I enjoyed it too. I went in with low expectations. ended up laughing at a lot at the ridiculousness. like the part that raptor-maniac goes upto the roof, looks at all the chaos and for no reason starts grinning like a psycho

ex machina was stimulating, they had errors in especially language processing errors which was annoyong however I assimulated like 5 sentences out of that into my beliefs.
