I now have this weird mental image of you majestically charging off into the sunset on a horse. And there'd be sparkle-spangled rainbows emanating from you, like He-Man. Umm... yeah.

Pfft, I do that every Monday morning! I need a majestic he-man scene to get my week started. ;)
Interesting question. Yesterday we had an appointment around noon, so we had to get up early. Today we had no such meeting and I'd fully expected to sleep until noon, but my wife had other ideas (something about maybe getting some work done on the boat today) so she started the generator at 10:30 and that's what motivated me to get out of bed.
I was craving a chocolate Quest Bar and some lactose free milk, so I got up and proceeded to have that for breakfast. YUMMY!
The fear that if I didn't get out of bed, all of the things I'm commited to doing throughout the day will systematically self-destruct.
Training courses that I have to arrive early to. Everyone can see you from the top office if you're late, and that would be embarrassing xD.
A dentist appointment. Otherwise, I would have slept in like I usually do.
Had to get up for work. I'm determined to make more money so I've been working extra hours. Plus working with dogs is pretty cool.
Being so parched that I just had to get up and fetch an ice cold bottle of water.

It's usually my bladder but today it was a crying baby. I go up before he could wake up the other sleeping kid. Now my house is quiet and peaceful. The aroma of coffee is in the air and a large truck just drove by.
