I've always loved Sunday. It's my favorite day, actually. I love waking up early and looking at the sun rise outside. I love to cook big Sunday breakfasts, so I always make my loved ones a big feast with pancakes and fried peaches and eggs and honeyed ham and grits or toast with freshly grown preserves.
I love waking up to my boyfriend and kissing him on the cheeks (or surprising him with head; he deserves it). I love spending time with him in general. He's pretty great. We always watch kiddie cartoons together and wear fluffy pajamas and play video games. I'm allowed to be a full nerd with him with no worries about being judged by others.
I love gardening. I always feel so proud to know that I've helped a tiny life sprout successfully. It's why I volunteer in my school's greenhouse! I also love going to the park near my dorm with my friends and lying out in the grass while doing homework or playing pretend like little kids even though we're nearing our twenties.
I'll stop before I go too in depth though lol. I love so much more too!!
Money... Cars, boats, things... Makes me feel better about myself and feel less of a failure.
Bought a jetski last week. Now I'm turbo-ing that thing so it outputs 400+ horsepower. I was excited when I bought it, felt like shit afterwards, but now it's in the tuning stage, so I am actually happy and excited about the results. Still got a few days vacation left.
You seem to really love your cat! It's so heart warming. Make sure to give them a scratch behind the ear in my honor! They certainly deserve it
Thanks, he jumped on my lap like 30 seconds before I read this, and I gave tha scratches.
It's scary though, because he's already eleven years old so I know our run is already half over. I saw a video this woman put online of her mother, her mom's African Grey parrot online. The old, dear woman was barely responsive, and although she maintained your composure you could her the sorrow in her daughter's voice. The parrot had become with the woman for 25 year, and he was so gentle, I think he knew it was the end. It was a heartbreaking video, but it was oddly beautiful. The old lady was surrounded by those who were closest to her, and her suffering was coming to an end, but you know their grieving had just begun.
Sorry to get on a tangent, but I dunno, sometimes I think of these things. Anyway, I love cats in general, but a Siamese is an amazing breed temperament-wise. He's more loyal, and in my face than a lot of dogs. I think he's actually kinda doting.
Don't make me cry now, because I definitely got teary eyed. I'd be lying if I knew exactly what to say to make you feel a bit better about that, but I do know that I'm happy you met a spirit who you dearly love and who loves you in return. That's as rare as it is beautiful. I'm so happy for you. Do you mind sending me the link to that video? I'm intrigued.
I'm actually planning on buying a cat as a college graduation present for myself. Do you recommend Siamese cats? They're beautiful. I originally intended on getting one from the shelter since so many are eventually killed, but I've never owned a cat before... Do you have any tips?
I love Siamese cats! However, I think it would be good for you to get a book or go online and research different breeds. There's no telling what you might find at a shelter, but you need to be armed with knowledge of the different cat breeds and their various temperaments wherever you go. Also every animal is an individual with a different and distinct personality all it's own.
I would say that my cat is definitely a lap cat, he used to play fetch all the time when his was younger. Siamese cats tend to need a lot of attention so that is why a lot of people tend to get two together. He is also very intelligent and can open doors on hid own, and of course the Siamese cat is known for it's tendency to be vocal. Playtime is really important, especially when their young. Really active and intelligent animals tend to get bored if they don't get enough playtime and attention.
