I don't like any kind of soda. Except root beer, birch beer, and ginger ale.
I like Coke, Pepsi, Dr Pepper, and Mountain Dew but chose Coke. Actually I now drink Coke Life which has 35% less sugar which is better for my diabetes. Because I'm diabetic I only drink soda twice of three times a month which kind of sucks but I find the less I drink it the more I appreciate it so I guess that's a good thing :)

The smell of Mountain Dew nauseates me, which is too bad, cuz it's a really cool colour.
Screw soda, it's all about the ice tea. I honestly hate soda now, used to love it, but now I find it too sickeningly sweet...
I miss Vanilla Coke!
I went in one of those speciality confectionary shops and they had imported some classics over from America. I went away with Vanilla Coke, a packet of Nerds and a satisfying fuzz of nostalgia. Why do they give us nice stuff only to take it away? WHY?!
What do you mean they dont sell it there? Now even Im concearned. What kind of Orwellian barbaric society do you live in?
As for the poll I like tonic water. With lots of gin.
The north of England would have given Orwell himself nightmares. In fact, A Clockwork Orange was written by a chap only a mile or two away from here; probably because they took away his root beer!
They used to when I was a kid. Even McDonalds sold it. It was pretty nice too. Then it disappeared. Like slushies. I miss them too. I know they're just sugar, flavour and ice, but they're part of my childhood.
I've just discovered an Australian brand of root beer (Bundaberg) that you can find in certain places here. Not cheap. Not cheap at all. But it's nice. Actually, it's very nice indeed.
The English used to do a sarsaparilla (sasparilla here) but it was never as nice as root beer. Then there's dandelion and birdmuck. I like that too. But root beer beats them all. God knows why the English don't have more of a taste for it.
I heard something the other day about root beer being more popular in the US than any other place. I guess root beer being everywhere just seems like a part of life because I have never been out of the U.S. That sucks that you guys don't have it! Do you at least have Dr. Pepper?
