I do a combination of everything you just mentioned. LOL.

I get really pissed off. I'm a very calm person, but I do get bad road rage when assholes don't know how to drive...that's the one thing that flips my switch.

    • Do you take it more personally when the douchebag driver is a man than a woman? In other words the other gender?

No, I don't. Male or female, same reaction, lol.

I am male and live in the U.S. If people honk, flash their headlights, tailgate me, or try to bitch at me for being too slow, I feel like flipping them off. I usually am in a shocked state for about 10 minutes. What really pisses me off are truck drivers who feel like they have to honk as they pass me up. This is not necessary because they have already solved their problem. Fuck all people who do these things!

If no accident happens, I let it go. I might hurl a few expletives, not that any other driver can hear them, lol. I've seen some hairy close calls!!!

People really ought to take driving more seriously though.

If I had my way, I would dispose of automatic transmission vehicles. That'll teach 'em to pay attention. At least people might realize better following distance.

I'm a U.S. driver, but I have driven in Germany. German drivers stick to the rules. U.S. drivers? Not so much, but traffic tends to move alright anyways.

    • To be honest I see driving as a privilege not a right. If a person can't drive safely and puts others in danger then they deserve to loose the ability to drive. Too bad if they can't get to work, too bad if they can't get to university or going out with their friends becomes limited because they now are not allowed to drive. They should have thought of that before they put everyone else's lives in danger.

I also love the German way to get your drivers licence as well.

I get pissed off for mere moments that an idiot is wasting my time, and others that have someplace to be. Get on with yourself or get out of my way. I don't fixate on one individual because there is another idiot right ahead.

I don't get annoyed by drivers cause I imagine they could be old people, or young people still learning

    • You are correct there are those types of drivers and then there are some that are just strait out douchebags as well. Like the people that drive up the wrong lane and try to force their way across at speed because they can't be bothered waiting their turn.

I'd either honk the horn or just not give a crap. It depends on my mood. I'm a female living in the US.

    • My sister had a guy that got angry that she was not tailgating the car in front and keeping a safe distance on the motorway. He drove in her boot and changed lanes and swerved over towards her car from the side which was pushing her towards the median barrier and harassing her with what he was saying.

She placed her hand on the horn and held it there and once he had gone a guy in a van came up beside my sister tooted his horn and gave her the thumbs up.

It's great no one was hurt. There are some crazy people on the road. Have you ever had an encounter with people in a rush who purposely put their high beams on to make everyone else pull over? I can't stand those people.

        • Yeah, we don't really have those people where I live. Personally I am not driving even though I was told I am an extremely good driver by the driving school. Personal reasons.
