Buses are a bunch of random people you do not know. Airplane can blow up or crash when you are on it. Train from what I hear is trashy and expensive. Boat can sink and I do not think I would be able to swim in water that cold. So car or possibly the train.

Anything but a car. Unfortunately, preference doesn't count for a lot as that's the only way I have to travel.

I always walk if it's within distance. Otherwise I'll take the bus. I like being able to sit back and just be moved around :)

Ferries are nice too, but there's so few practical uses for them compared to other forms of travel that I've only been on them a handful of times. I've heard too many horror stories about sea sickness for me to feel comfortable on them, which makes me enjoy them a lot less even though I've never been seasick :P
